Kessel is an old historic village on the river Maas.
In the middle of the village there is a ruin that is completely refurbished in the modern style, with around several old houses.
The village has about 5000 inhabitants.

We are located along the Heldense forest with many walking and cycling possibilities.

The river Maas is about 2 km away from us. Here you can go to the locks in Baarlo.
There are several cycling routes on the river Maas, where you can enjoy the ships and the river Maas panorama.
There are also several museums and sights in the area.
At about 7 km. distance is Panningen.
Cozy village with many shops, boutiques and several large supermarkets.
On Wednesday there is a big market.

Roermond:
Roermond is about 20 km away from Ut Tumpke.
The city center of Roermond has a cozy and characteristic appearance.
Along the inner city is the Outlet of Roermond and a little further the Retail Park
with all XL stores including the Vrijbuiter for your camping gear.

Venlo:
Venlo is a modern city with a large indoor shopping center on the Maas boulevard.
Also located there is theater the Maaspoort and the Limburg museum.
Venlo is located about 15 km from Ut Tumpke.
